Rita’s Butterfly is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to bring information, awareness, and support around pancreatic cancer to the American community. Our mission is to educate patients and families on symptoms, early warning signs, and available resources, while supporting those navigating diagnosis and treatment.

A butterfly symbolizes positive transformation through its life cycle—beginning as a caterpillar, representing limitation, and emerging as a beautiful, free-flying butterfly. This transformation represents personal growth, rebirth, and the strength to overcome challenges. It reflects the ability to move through hardship and emerge stronger, reminding us that even in the hardest seasons, change and hope are possible.
